AdSTM supported the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) review of an application by Eskom to site a nuclear power station at Thyspunt on the East coast of South Africa (SA). The review covered the areas of probabilistic risk assessment, meteorology, hydrology, biological impacts, and radiological assessment of radioactive effluents and postulated accidents.
